Kandle & The Krooks and Fast Romantics were part of a free concert at Yonge-Dundas Square on Friday night. Unfortunately, a heavy rain decided to show up just a few songs into the proceedings, which forced Kandle & The Krooks to cut their set short. The crowd quickly dispersed and ran for cover, including me (expensive camera equipment and rain do not mix well).
About an hour later, the rain had subsided enough that Fast Romantics were able to play a short set. A pretty gutsy move, in my opinion, what with the threat of electrocution and all – yikes! I was pretty much stuck under one of those giant umbrellas in the sectioned off drinking area, so I wasn’t able to get as much of a variety in shots as I’d have liked. Still, the rain made for an interesting experience, and Fast Romantics seemed to be having a hell of a good time during their set. Check out the pics below!
