Pop Evil, Smashing Satellites, The Joy Arson @ The Phoenix – December 1, 2015

A show came up last minute and I figured, what the hell, I’ll shoot it. Never heard of Pop Evil before, even though they have like a half million Facebook fans. Also on the bill: Smashing Satellites, and The Joy Arson. Tuesday, December 1. Shot on assignment for Aesthetic Magazine Toronto. Click the link to see the full set of concert pics.

I photographed a bunch of punk rock bands at Echo Beach on Thursday, August 6. It was pretty rad. The bill consisted of NOFX, Lagwagon, Strung Out, Swingin’ Utters, The Flatliners, Masked Intruder, and toyGuitar. Shot on assignment for Aesthetic Magazine Toronto. Pepper, Rebelution @ Echo Beach – July 26, 2015

I photographed reggae rock bands Pepper and Rebelution at Echo Beach on Sunday, July 26. Sublime with Rome was the headliner for this show, but I didn’t shoot them because of a ridiculous release form that basically said the band would own all my images, etc. Shot on assignment for Aesthetic Magazine Toronto. In The Valley Below @ The Garrison – July 22, 2015

American dream pop duo In The Valley Below (ITVB) performed at The Garrison on Wednesday, July 22. It was kind of a weird show in that ITVB was the only band on the bill. They played for 45 minutes and then they left. No encore. This was my second time photographing them. The first time was at The Danforth Music Hall on October 11, 2014. That resulted in one of my all-time favourite concert photos (see below). The Garrison is a much smaller venue, and the lighting is pretty terrible, so it was a bit of a different experience. Shot on assignment for Aesthetic Magazine Toronto. You can see the full set of photos right here.
