I shot Interpol and Cosmicide at The Danforth Music Hall (DMH) on Tuesday, July 14. The DMH is one of the nicer concert venues in the city. I hadn’t shot there in about eight months. Kind of a bummer, though, that the lighting wasn’t the greatest. Too many reds and blues, and not especially bright. Also, no photo pit.
It wasn’t totally packed for Cosmicide, so I was able to move around a bit and get shots from some different angles during the three-song window. But the place was completely rammed by the time Interpol hit the stage. I didn’t want to piss people off by trying to squeeze my way to the front, so I was pretty much stuck in one spot. Would have liked some more variety in my shots, but sometimes, that’s how it goes. Shot on assignment for Aesthetic Magazine Toronto. You can see the full set of pictures right here.
